Art Classes for Children, Teenagers, and Adults
Art classes are offered for adults, teens, and children. All skill levels are accepted from beginning students to more advanced with a maximum enrollment of five students per class. Smaller classes promote a faster learning curve with more attention given to each student. Students work in the relaxed environment of my studio using a variety of mediums such as pencil, charcoal, pastel, oil and acrylic paint.
Our Teaching Approach:
The studio uses an open studio approach with each student getting personal attention, working with their own subject and chosen medium. Instructor offers constructive feed back throughout class sessions, demonstrating by example, successful approaches in the development of each student's work. Particular focus is given to observation skills and compositional development as well as the most effective use of a student's chosen medium. I encourage the melding of a sound " skills base" with each student's creativity and personal vision.
